January 26th and August 15th are two big national festivals and most people will make it a point that they at least salute the National Flag. But, by the time yours truly wakes up, it will be about 11:00 am and by the time he completes his daily rituals it will be about 1:00 pm.

Life has changed for me after my school days where I used to lead the group doing the Republic day/ Independence day honors. Since then, I never visited even my nearest flag hoisting point. There must be quite a few people who are in the same situation I am in. But I sincerely believe that this doesn't put me under the unpatriotic citizen category.
