The post has reference to a discussion with my fellow cab passenger recently.

She was frank in admitting that marriage is a heavy relationship and you get bored of it after sometime, yet have to pursue it for the society.

It's up to the individuals to make it interesting, said I.

I admitted that I had been in and out of a few love affairs which she termed as mere infatuation. I could get out of most of those relations because I didn't see any light at the end of them or may be I got bored of them quickly-that happens with me. And of course, I didn't proclaim them in public.

But marriage is entirely a different ball game. It's not easy to come out of it once you are committed and at the same time no point in continuing when you are not entirely convinced of the relationship.

This might sound strange to a number of people who know me in person, but I was convinced after looking at couples who simply drag their marriage just to satisfy their families or society, without having a purpose.

We ended our discussion abruptly as we reached her drop point, and so will I end this post as it seems to be heading nowhere.
