The following is direct lift from one of my favorite websites (www.idlebrain.com). The writer of this letter has put forth his opinion of the series of incidents that took place after Dr.Rajashekar and his family were attacked allegedly by Mega Fans.
As his opinion fully matches with mine, I didn't take pains to write again.
Dear Dr. Rajsekhar:
This letter is with reference to the recent happenings that have caused quite a stir in the media. I extend my sympathies to you and your family and hope everything is fine with your family members.
The Indian constitution endows to its every citizen a fundamental right called the "freedom of speech". This means every Indian citizen has freedom to speak his mind. It is unfortunate to see this right is being manipulated in a docile way to vent out frustration on someone who has been blessed with bigger things in life.
Before the attack
You had mentioned in your press conference that Chiranjeevi does not possess any experience in politics and that is the reason why you don’t want to join him.
Yes, you are 100% right? Chiranjeevi does not have any experience in politics so far. My question to you is - what prior political experience did NTR possess when he first announced his entry into Andhra politics 25 years back? None!!! For everything there is a first-time. It is very amusing that you did not think of this before commenting on Chiranjeevi.
After the Attack
After the attack you had mentioned that Chiranjeevi should take the ownership for the attack made by his fans. Let us apply some common-sense. You comment on someone and the next day you are attacked - who gets blamed? It is possible that the assailants could have been opportunists who may have attacked you to malign Chiranjeevi and his fans from a circumstantial evidence perspective. It is also possible that they were indeed some hardcore fans of Chiranjeevi who could not bear someone commenting on their favourite hero.
In any event, Chiranjeevi was magnanimous in promptly reaching your place, apologizing, comforting your family and taking accountability for the entire fiasco. He also condemned the attacks and admonished the miscreants.
During one of your media outbursts, you mentioned that Chiranjeevi should control his fans. Kindly suggest to Chiranjeevi how he can control millions and millions of his fans who treat him next to god and their parents? Recently some of your fans burnt the effigies of Chiranjeevi. Will you take accountability and apologize to Chiranjeevi and his fans for the incident?
I totally agree that the attack on you and your family is unfair; but your behaviour after Chiranjeevi has conscientiously apologized is portraying you as a person who is trying to garner sympathy and get even with Chiranjeevi for some past professional defeats you endured in his hands.
"To err is human, to forgive divine" - apologizing for a mistake that is not yours is being noble.
On behalf of Chiranjeevi fans, I wish you and your family well.
Thanks
A die hard fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi unto death

That was an impulsive reaction by Rajasekhar and Jevitha. They need not be so hastened in approaching the media. Chiranjeevi performed as a gentleman and proved himself - the megastar. (BTW, I am not a fan of Chiranjeevi, I hardly watch his movies.)
Well, “"To err is human, to forgive divine" - apologizing for a mistake that is not yours is being noble “, is perfect.

One person has committed suicide over Chiru delaying his political entry. With such fans around, it is foolish of Mr. Rajashekar and Jeevitha to mess around again.
They should remember the saying
Once bitten, twice shy.

Apologising for a mistake that is not yours? How is Chiranjeevi 'not involved' in all this? He HAD to apologise, nothing noble about it...any politician would do the same.
"With such fans around, it is foolish of Mr. Rajashekar and Jeevitha to mess around again." With such fans around, I am not surprised Chiru is actually staying away from entering politics. Next thing you know, people start killing themselves to get what they want from their 'Megastar'.
As for Rajashekar, he just made the best possible use of the situation, unlike Chiru.

@akhil
Did the Congress or Telugu Desam leaders anytime tell sorry when their party workers smashed buses, shops and hit police?
Let us assume that Chiru said sorry to take some mileage out of this but what Rajashekhar and Jeevitha are doing is funny and foolish.
It is clear that there are some people who believe that Chiru's entry will definitely affect their political career and are making such moves. Rajshekhar, who is often ignored, wants to cash on this opportunity and he will definitely pay for it.
As for Chiru fans, they are fanatics but they are yet to build a temple. They are just waiting for their favorite start to start his political career. The situation is similar to the situation during 1980s when NTR announced his political party.

Most of what TDP and Cong guys do, does not get half the coverage as this minor incident did. E.g. I am yet come across an incident where TDP workers have beaten up Rajashekar reddy...
Chiru made the worst possible use of the situation. He behaved more like an actor, not like a politician. I don't think he has got any mileage at all out of this. Though it's unlikely to affect his political career.
There's very little difference between building temples for your stars and beating up someone who bad-mouths him. I am sure Chiranjeevi realises that his fans are his greatest support but also his nemesis. By beating up Rajashekar, they ended up giving him more publicity than needed! How much control does he have on their behaviour.
And if Chiru is going to go the NTR way, then I pray that he stay at his home rather than become the CM.
February 8, 2008 at 10:54 PM
Really don't agree with Chiru sitting at home.
He has the power and capability to do something to the state. He is trying to romp in Abdul Kalam and some stalwarts not just to attract intellectuals but with purpose.
I don't say he will create magic after becoming CM but he will bring some relief to people who have got vexed with the congress and TDP.
February 9, 2008 at 12:17 PM
Temporary relief it will be, I am quite sure abt that.

but the only alternative available

Take it easy guys. Let the race begin.

Frankly Speaking, Chiranjeevi has reached the destination heights. To be honest, I am a chowdhary. But, I really would like to appreciate chiranjeevi's attitude towards every aspect of life. I reckon, he is next to Great NTR.
Rajsekhar U pls be careful. Don't take an advantage in making stupid points that too infront of media. Remember Your holding a Honourable position. It's too much to say
anything about the great person.
ANNAYA, EVEN UR WITH MY RIVAL CASTE - YOUR THE MAN OF PERFECTION. I SAY TO EVERY ONE, "WE R HUMAN BEINGS". LET US BEHAVE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS.
RAJSEKHAR ONCE AGAIN TELLING U BE CAREFUL.

Think in gen, why would some who entered into politics want to create a situation for himself, why will chiranjeevi be blamed for what has happpened.
it is common sense any human with a normal human brain will not do such an act of voilence. it could be a plot by some other people and blaming chiru fans for it.
September 20, 2008 at 11:53 AM
Yes. Rajasekhar thought people would forget this point. If you observe his recent comments, he said he would give zero rating to Chiranjeevi as a politician. I will give you negative marks Mr. Rajasekhar.
Constant blabbering about Chiru and his one month old party does give you publicity, but also shows how immature you are. I blame Jeevitha for Dr.Rajasekhar's weird behavior and also for the slump in his career.
April 8, 2009 at 11:41 AM
wow i cant believe there are so many blind fans of chiranjeevi that they forgo that even kids were attacked.
chiranjeevi is another human not GOD. ftw that goes blind to this fact.
and whos that chowdhary? whats so great about being chowdhary man? did you fall from sky? I've seen you andhra people show such discrimination to your own kind in colleges and so many places. chowdhury are high cast. catch balls.
did GOD give you bigger balls or what?
in politics, you are free to blabber about anyone, but attacking someones family simply shows what a goonda that chiranjeevi and his fans are. and what stupid people are his followers who support him.
fan of megastar until death - i read!!!
wtf. did you take care of ur parents ever. who raised you carefully and with love. are you their fan? asshole. fan of megastar itseems.

@latest anonymous: May be you are too harsh on me bro.
The post is a direct lift from a website called idlebrain.com.
Any sane person who followed the whole episode can understand that the chasing was plotted by Chiru rivals, and Rajashekhar and Jeevitha used it to the max to gain advantage.
No caste here boss. BTW I am not a Chowdary or Kamma.
