Mohammad Azharuddin, the tainted, former Indian cricket captain, has at last found the right wicket to play. His decision to join politics may not have come as a surprise to many as it is where all baddies will end up finally. After getting thrown out of cricket, Azhar, who joined the Congress today, started an event management company and a health club in Hyderabad.
Looking at the current cricket players, who are earning like there is no tomorrow, Azhar's foul brain might have thought of avenues to gain money. As his batting, Azhar wanted it to be a smooth affair, and after consulting his beautiful wife, he decided to join politics. And what's more, he will once again start playing games, of course, a dirty game this one.
The party he chose is also one of the most corrupt parties to have ruled Andhra Pradesh. While the erstwhile Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu amassed properties to the tune of thousands of crores, the current CM Rajashekhar Reddy, has garnered myriad assets, which are sufficient for all the poor in the state to live happily ever after.
