Twin Blasts: Reminiscent of the Past

The whole episode of the twin blasts in Hyderabad had a sense of déjà vu about it. There has been a lot of anger, anguish, and disappointment vented on the ghastly blast by the whole of India, and from day 3 the city and the country got engaged in their daily rituals. Only the media and the politicians have mulled over it for some time.

I tried to switch on my PC immediately after the incident, but postponed it as only expletives were coming out of my mouth.

Most of us see the blast as the work of Pakistani or Bangladeshi terrorists hiring young and illiterate Muslims in India. This is what I call terrorism myopia. It is a well-known fact that a number of Pakistanis and Bangladeshis linked to various terrorist organizations are happily living in the old city region of Hyderabad. Even the intelligence department, I suppose it exists with a few personnel whose intelligence can be questioned, knows it. Even the police cannot take a single step on their own as the current Congress govt. will come in the way. Wondering why the hell does the govt. come in between; simple, the congress party came to power through the support of the notorious fundamentalist party called MIM, which turns up at every occasion whenever a Muslim is arrested or taken into custody by the police. While many compare the MIM with the RSS, Shiv Sena and the BJP, it is faaaaaaaaaaaaar ahead of them. While the former tries to protect Hinduism, the later propagates hatred against other religions.

I am presenting some of the facts that have been published in various newspapers after the blast. A Telugu newspaper revealed that Information Minister Mohd. Ali Shabbir, has been releasing the local Muslim youth, picked up by police for interrogation, by himself. The people, whom he had released, were allegedly involved in train blasts in Mumbai and Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad. If the Government itself is obstructing the progress of the investigation, what can the poor police department do?

Another interesting news that I stumbled upon was that a some of the computer engineers, needless to say they are Muslims, working in Hyderabad and Bangalore tech companies have terrorist links. Poor IT companies have expressed fears and started checking their credentials. Don't worry, these guys have all the genuine certificates and papers required to prove their innocence and identity. Good development, even the educated Muslims are getting into the business to expedite the process of proliferating terrorism.

The funny part is that while terrorists have been successfully using the technology to create commotion, our police and intelligence departments are filled with people either recruited through reservations or recommendations and are always kilometers behind the perpetrators. Whenever there is a terrorist threat, the security of the CM is beefed up, but the public is ignored.

Funniest of all was CM's statement that the blast was a stray incident and could have been avoided had they implemented the recommendations of Anjaneya Reddy, who asked the govt. to set up a special branch to observe the movements of terrorists. Further, it was reported that the police have found Maoist links to this attack.

So, my dear fellow citizens, let us enjoy the benefits of being in such a vicious political system by dying. You will only see more of these incidents happening and every time you feel you have been there already. The primary benefit is that you can save more money as you will not go out during weekends, stop watching movies in a theater, etc.

All the best. Happy Living
